There is actually a really good fan remake of the first game called Black Mesa. You should go download it.

I love this game. It truly is one of the best. I played it for the first time on PC when I was like 8, and I freaked out so hard when I saw it released on the GameCube as part of Sonic Gems Collection. ^.^
