Underrated Games

Saw a topic for overrated games, and decided to make one on the underrated ones.

For me, I think Metroid Other M gets way more hate than it deserves.

This may sound crazy, but Final Fantasy VIII.

While it got great reviews and sold well, over the years I've seen it get entirely too much hate from various communities.

the series isn't talked about alot, and for a ROG its fucking great.

Maybe it's because you had to suffer for 20 hours of boring till you actually get to the good stuff. :\

I´d say redsteel. Yeah it has control issues, but it´s multiplayer is still fun.

You wanna talk underrated?

Heir of Zendor: The Legend and the Land, on Saturn. Absolute masterpiece of a steam-punk retrofuturistic post-apocalyptic strategy game.

But if you tots want current generation things...

Sakura Wars V, on Wii. Excellent strategy/dating sim/visual novel.

Arc Rise Fantasia, on Wii. Visually pleasing turn-based RPG

Glory of Heracles, on Nintendo DS. Solid turn-based RPG.

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland on PlayStation 3. Probably the best of the Atelier series I've played.

Binary Domain on PlayStation 3, excellent Philip K. Dick/Isaac Asimov-inspired action game.

Sands of Destruction on Nintendo DS, excellent isometric RPG in the vein of Dark Savior.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron on PlayStation 3. Inspired by the Book of Enoch, this is a visually stunning artistic game that is just pure eye candy.

Q*bert, he needs more recognition.

Dungeons of Dredmor, its a great roguelike game that addicting.
I dont know if you would call Mark of the Ninja under rated because it got great review scores but sold badly on XBL but sold better on PC.

I made that "overrated" topic, Haha. I think Epic Mickey is kind of an underrated game. But I traded it in, anyway, Lol. I wasn't playing it at all, and now I've recently wanted to pick it up again.

Mmm... I think Epic Mickey was given its due. Warren Spector is a pretty good game maker, and I like his attitude, which transpires to his games.

I'm pretty sure wii did(see see what I did there I made a pun cause were on a Nintendo forum and.... uh.....screw you I thought it was funny.)
