Starting an Official Thread [OT]
This really isn't relevant at the moment, but it definitely will be when the Wii U launches.
For those who may not have much forum experience, and opening thread, referred to as an "OT", is an official thread made on a particular game or topic that is for general discussion of it. This keeps the amount of numerous threads on the same subject matter down. Other threads on the same topic are allowed, but all the other threads must be dedicated to a specific sub-topic of the game.
For instance, we will have an official Smash Bros 4 Thread, but other users can still create SSB4 related topics such as "Tier the Characters" or "Is Ganon too over-powered?" But any GENERAL discussion threads regarding SSB4 would be prohibited and deleted. If you want to talk generally about the game, please post in the OT.
When starting a OT of a game, there is a certain format to follow.
1) First, make a heading for the thread.
If you've ever been in school, you should know how this works. State the name of the game, it's developer, publisher, and release date.
2) Under (or beside) the heading include the official logo or boxart of the game.
3) Under the picture, post a quick description of the game. You may of course just copy and paste a description you find on IGN or Metacritic.
4) List characteristics of the game. For instance, if it is a first-person-shooter, state how many players it supports online and features it has. For instance, if I were to make a Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Thread, I would list "New cities. 11 new boss monster. 22 sub-species. 4 new weapon types." Things of the nature, but of course include it in bulletin form.
There is more I would probably add later on, but for now, that is it. Any further questions of suggestion feel free to post them here.

Re: Starting an Official Thread [OT]
All of that would be posted in the thread correct? Not the title of it, that would be ridiculous.
