You CAN run Wii U games off of an SD card!

Our good ol' pal Shok has showed us that you can in fact run your Wii U games off of an SD card.

Actually, did you know if you format an SDXC card to fat32 it will probably work on the Wii U? 256 GB on one card, hell yeah!

Actually, did you know if you format an SDXC card to fat32 it will probably work on the Wii U? 256 GB on one card, hell yeah!

Yeah I wouldn't mind. It's easier and quicker to do and it's not a fact that changing it to fat would work.

That's a good thing, that's awesome. Hopefully this trick will still be around in 2014. And by that, I mean that hopefully Nintendo won't release some patch that will negate this trick.

Oh yeah definitely. You could probably find a 1TB for like $80.
