Earthbound Wii U?

I think this would be just amazing but what about you guys?

Depends, we talking about Earthbound (mother 2) remake with Wii U graphics? Earthbound port just on the marketplace? Or a completely new installment?

More so a completely new game but an HD remake would be cool. I think if they showed a completely new Earthbound at E3 they'd win automatically.

It'll be the first 3D Mother game to be fully released, I could be wrong but I think Itoi said Mother 3 was going to be the last Mother game.
But it would be interesting if it happened

There was an article a couple months ago with interviews with I think Miyamoto or Iwata and Ito talking about Mother 3 coming over to the west and a possibility of a new game I think. I'm not sure but that's exactly my point, especially since he said it'd be the last one, with there being another AND it's the first 3D installment that'd just be awesome. Just a thought though.

Whats so great about mother anyway?
I haven't played any of em but they don't seem all that different from other rpgs.

Well, get this: Using the gamepad to take pictures of Ness and crew in front of questionably-scenic places (I'm a Master Photographer if I do say so myself!!), then uploading said pictures onto Nintendo Network for the world to have yuks at.

They just need to use the Pokemon Snap premise and beef it up a bit and voila! Hours of fun.

And about the Spaguetti bloke, brush him off. He jumped into the video game scene this generation because he wanted to belong to a group and be with the in-crowd, meaning Pyro and Company. What does this guy know about video games?

As amazing as this would be, I wouldn't count on it.

Then again, Nintendo did revive Punchout and the Excite series.

i would like to see a new Earthbound title not a remake/port to 3DS, that would be kool.

At the VERY LEAST they could add Mother 1,2,3 on the Eshop with English translation.

It really makes me wonder, if Nintendo is not to keen on releasing mother content, why are Ness and Lucas in Smash Brothers?

You mean those five minute demo's in the vault? I didn't even know Earthbound was there.

It was in the masterpiece section thing, yes. They removed it from the non-Japan releases.
