Using Iphone earbuds as an headset for Wii U?

yea you can use any headphones that work in the pad and in voice chat games, the Gamepad mic is activated, becoming a headset without buying one.

I just picked up these POS earbuds by a company I never heard of (BOSFO) just because they have an mic. I'm only using these until I buy a way better headset. After I bought them the guy who sold me these told me that they come straight the iphone company, I said "oh yeah? you mean Apple right?" he said "Naw, the iphone company." I couldn't stop laughing.

I just got Beats earbuds specifically made for iPhone (even though I don't have an iPhone lol) so I'm definitely trying this. There's also a mic built into my earbuds already including a volume changer so maybe there's a chance I can just use the mic on there. If not I can always just use my AfterGlow ^_^

Pretty damn good I must say. The quality in everything is great. The sound is crisp. The glow isn't bad touch either but the best thing about it is you're not gonna physically break it because it's so flexible. Best headset i've ever owned

Yeah those are good as well. My cousin has one and said they're really comfortable and sound amazing.

It is a cheaper solution but I would much rather have the afterglow headset.
